Però, ho letto in giro che:
"The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean was filmed in the anamorphic Panavision process and is presented on disc with an accurate approx. 2.35:1 aspect ratio."
Che sarebbe il formato, presentato nel dvd uscito da noi in Edicola, in Letterbox..
Mentre, nella recensione su DVdtalk si parla di 'enhanced':
"The anamorphically-enhanced, 1.85:1 widescreen image for The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean looks terrific, with beautifully subtle, correctly-valued color, a sharp image, and little or no screen anomalies."

la versione editoriale venduta a oro era mozzata. |

Quindi, anche in questo dvd, il Video è in pan&scan..? O.o
In teoria, doveva essere un 2,35: 1..però, "adattato" nel dvd Warner Archive risulta un 1,85 :1! (?)
Almeno, così ho capito dalla recensione su DVDtalk.. |

| Il formato corretto è 1:85 non 2:35...che sarebbe errato.Quindi se il dvd è come quello recensito da Dvdtalk è non solo corretto come aspect ratio(e infatti DVDtalk ne tesse le lodi) ma pare pure ottimo come video.Se invece ha tutt'altro formato saremmo di fronte al solito pasticcio italiota |
