Joni Mitchell trovò il suo “Amore”. Nel 1983 la cantante ha realizzato con la sua band quello che sarà il tour più lungo della sua carriera con il suo nuovo marito, il bassista rock Larry Klein. Alla fine di questo tour ne ha realizzato un film. Un insieme di performance in studio, filmati e clip, Refuges of the Roads, rivolge uno sguardo intimo ad un periodo particolarmente felice di questa artista così sfuggente.
