Director Paul-Anders Simma grew up in a nomad family in Lapland. The films on this DVD all have a close connection with the Saami culture and the new generation of Lapland.

Lassi is living in a small village in the wilderness. It's in the middle of the winter, with darkness and snow everywhere. Yet one day flowers bloom in the snow-drift, and the icy wind turns warm. How full of wonderand magic is first love to a twelve years old!
